Any DFS gurus out there? Replication issue

We're running DFS folder replication on a pair of win2k3 SP1 servers - a folder and all the subfolders on one server are replicated across to the same folder on the other server. Replication is set to run 24/7.

I'm trying to set it so a subfolder called "logs" will exist on server a but will not be replicated to server b. I've gone to properties of the DFS console -> replicated folder, Replication tab, and edited the Subfolder filter to contain "logs". However, when I create or delete a new folder called logs on either server, the change is replicated across to the other server. Is there something else I need to do to keep this folder from replicating? I've given it 25 hours to make sure all the changes are synched, and I have restarted the File Replication service on both servers. Still no luck.

Thanks!
