DRIVER_POWER_STATE_FAILURE

I am running Windows Server 2003. I am getting a blue screen when I shutdown the computer with DRIVER_POWER_STATE_FAILURE Stop: 0x0000009F (0x0000500, 0x00000002,...)error.

Can you please help...

Re: DRIVER_POWER_STATE_FAILURE

Well... I found a few links that "might" be helpful.

http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;Q315249

http://www.microsoft.com/resources/documentation/Windows/XP/all/reskit/en-us/Default.asp?url=/resources/documentation/Windows/XP/all/reskit/en-us/prmd_stp_ulhr.asp

Possible causes would be related to software that you might have added just recently (anti-virus, backup, remote control, etc.).

Going by that list, it's ALSO possible that your problem could be caused by a virus or spyware.

Thank you very much. I was able to find the offending driver and resolved the problem.
