Event ID 55
Hi All
We have had our system board replaced on DL380G4. There is a logical disk on RAID5 configuration in Windows which is available.
However since the board was replaced we are continually getting the following error
Event ID 55
the file system structure on the disk is corrupt and unusable. Please run chkdsk on drive G:
I have any run chkdsk in windows but am still getting the errors.
Is there a quick fix without restoring all our data, i do not think the drives are faulty. I am tempted to update the firmwares now the system board has been replaced as they are quite old....
Thanks!

Re: Event ID 55
Hi,
first of all make sure your nightly baackup running properly,
second, this event can indicate serveral problem:
1)Drivers - try to update or rollback disk drivers and updating SCSI/RAID firmware
2)fixes - check this http://support.microsoft.com/kb/932578/
3)The disk might have bad sectors.
