I'm in the process of doing some updates on an ML370 (now of which were realted to HP Insight Diagnositcs, AFAIK)
After a reboot I noticed that one of the services did not restart, "HP Insight Diagnostics". It tries to run the following command:
C:\compaq\hpdiags\hpdiags.exe -ntservice_s -l en
I complained that:
The system cannot find the file specified.
I've tried updating Insight Diagnostics from to 7.0.1.1219 (the previous version I found in C:\hp\hpdiags\, and appeard to be 7.0.0.1198).
That put the right version of hpdiags.exe in the C:\compaq\hpdiags direcorty, but it still fails when the service tries to start.
When I tried it on the command line it responded with:
Ivalid argument: -ntservice_s
I've tried removing Insight Diagnostics with the "Add or Remove Programs", and reinstalling the previous version (and again with the curent version). In neither case has this solved the error or altered the Service's command.
I'm at a loss, I can't go forward, I can't go backward.

Solution
The new version of HP Insight Diagnostics does not run as a Windows service.
So, you just see old version in Services.
