Installation
I am going to install windows 2003 on PowerEdge 1800 and to set up RAID 5 for hard disks. It is a brand new machine. Would you please give me a procedure how to accomplish it? Thank you for helping me.

Re: Installation
Hello Tracy,
I guess you meant the DELL PowerEdge 1800, didn't you?

We have the same exact model loaded with Windows 2000 Server Terminal Server & SQL Server at the same time and it's working very well!
As far as setting up RAID 5, this particular server comes with an option of a Hardware or a Software RAID so you'll need to double check what do you have in your Server?
This site will help you find useful tips but you'll need to enter your Service Tag:

As far as installing Windows Server 2003,
this server supports both Standard and Enterprise Edition:

Array Manager is used to create, manage and view the disk arrays configurations:

Hope this help
