ML 570 questions

[ML 570 questions]

Hi... new users here with some general questions. We have a ML570 that we just upgraded to Server 2003 and ran the Proliant Support Pack for Server 2003 as well. However when we go into Hardware, the processors do not show up correctly. Under hardware they appear as Processor but under the General tab, they appear as Intel Pentium III Xeon. Does anyone know why this would happen?

I noticied that on your reply you had g1 up to g4. Does it matter that ours is a basic server without a G?

That would meen you have G1(Genaration 1)

Thanks for the info. As stated, first time so I appreciate all the help. Clicked on the G1 link and saved the .exe to a formated floppy. Ran the .exe on the server and it completed successfully and required a re-boot which I completed as well. The Processor still come up as processors.
