Printer Pooling switching itself off?
I have 'Enable Printer Pooling' selected within the printer settings but for some reason, something is causing this box to be come unchecked. I have tested aa couple of scenarios which do not result in the option becoming unchecked, eg switching off the printer, PC, unplugging etc. There is one thing which does uncheck this option which is when you use the safely remove hardware option. However, something is automatically un-checking this option when I am nowhere near the PC in question? Does anyone have any ideas why this is happening?

Re: Printer Pooling switching itself off?
Hi Roxane,
Do you have more than 1 port pointing to the printer?
You have to tell apart printer (logical printer) and printer device (physical printer).
You need to have at least 2 physical printers that use the same drivers to get this to work.
Then you can have 1 single printer (logical printer) that's spitting out printer jobs through printer pooling (where 2 printers are set up as if they were 1 single printer).
Kind Regards.
Hope it helps.

Re: Printer Pooling switching itself off?
We have a local printer attached via USB which requires printer pooling to be switched on due to a DOS program which prints via LPT1 so I have it set on LPT1 and USB.
