sbs 2003+exchange
SBS 2003 comes as a bundle so exchange has to be loaded on the same box as os. I have a Dl 380 runnig RAID 5. As budget is a constraint i use the same for both OS and DATA. Since exchange is a bundle i have to ru that too from the same box. Is it ok. Any suggestions please.
Regards

Re: sbs 2003+exchange
Ya that should be fine; However, in order to avoid any performance related issues, You may add another 2 drives, Raid 1; & install OS onto that;(this can be done on ne drive also, but i would recommend having RAID 1)
The idea is to have 2 RAIDs; One for OS & one for the DATA; & of course Cost effective!(instead of having 2 servers)
& not to mention; Once everything is set up, Keep Taking Backups frequently;
Regards,
James.
