sbs2003 on ML370 - disk capacity

Hi,

I have problem at client.
Running SBS 2003 with AD/Exchange.

MIRROR of 2 discs 36GB with 3 partitions on Smart Array 641.

Problem:
drive C: 500MB free (of 10GB) system
drive D: 3GB free (of 10GB) exchange partition
drive E: 500MB free of 15GB (data partition)

How can we expand the diskcapacity?
Can we use a tool like Volume Manager ?
Is it best to make a "ghost image backup", expand disks and rewrite the ghost image ?

Please give feedback.

Hi Frank,

Always a good idea to have an image in case..!
I'm not quitre sure what you are trying to achieve. If the C drive is running out of space, you are going to have a problem unless you have a utility like Acronis Disk Director (A server version of the likes af Partition Magic).
You can sometimes use diskpart if you have some free contiguous disk space to extend the partition, but this has its own set of rules.. viz

Looks like adding more drives and restoring from image.. or use one of the utilities above. In any case, you look like running out of space pretty quickly. I'm personally not a great fan of mirroring with MS server software! I think you would be better off using that exrtra disk space (if budget comes into it.. (does it ever NOT??) and have a robust backup scheme.)
