send mail server for windows 2003 server

Hi All
Can any body provide me information on send mail server on windows 2003 server.
Any software supporting win2003

Hi,
what kind of W2K3 are you using?
With SBS version, there is Exchange Server that works as smtp server.
You also need a PC with outlook or outlook express on board.
With the other version of W2K3 you have to buy Exchange Server. AFAIK there is no any other smtp working on this OS.

IIS 6.0 that is included with Windows Server 2003 includes SMTP.

SMTP is generally the protocol used to send mails to other mail servers, but in this context also a basic service for sending mails. Exchange adds a lot to the basic SMTP service by being a full-fledged business/enterprise mail system
