Server Lockup
I have two DL380's that are locking up, one a 2003 server and one a 2000 server. Nothing in event viewer, nothing in the IML, when you look at the monitor it is just a gray (windows 2003)or blue (windows 2000) blank screen. The only way to recover them is to reboot them with the power button. We have run all of the hardware tests and everything looks good. The only coincidence is that both of these servers are heavy file servers, fiber attached to a EVA 3000, and both have heavy usage of remote desktop for management. Has anyone else experienced anything like this?

Re: Server Lockup
have you checked in the survey file if thre are errors logged in ?
usualy hardware errors are sent by agents to the system event log, but if your system lock up, you cannot see them in windows,

Re: Server Lockup
I looked in survey.txt but did not see any hardware errors listed. Am I looking in the right spot?
