want to install 2003 server

Hi ,

I want to replacemy old hard disk with a new one since i want more memory space.

Also I have the hard disk installed with win dows 2003 server.
but when i connect the new hard disk it gives a short dump and restarts.

Any idea???

What was the RAID level of your boot disk?

If you are using a single disk as a boot disk, try o configure it in RAID 0 and try to install

Thanks for the reply, but i have figured it out that because i don't have the SATA drivers installed in my ststem due to which it is giving the problem.

Now my question is from where do i get the SATA drivers for my model, dv6767tx.

i have windows 2003 server CD. i can integrate with nlite, but not able to find the right SATA drivers.

Please help.
