we have windows domain controller Primary and Additional My Primary domain goes down due to HW fail Additional domain can’t take over please help what was the problem
Primery Domain = Windows 2003 Ent Additional Domain = Windows 2003 Standard
so you have 2 domain controllers for one domain, in NT/200 domain there was an primary and backup domian controller, in the 2003/2008 are both of the domain controllers primary, but the domain roles could be only on the first and if the first fail, could be transfered to the secondary ( backup ) controller.
