Windows 2003 Domain
we have windows domain controller Primary and Additional
My Primary domain goes down due to HW fail
Additional domain can’t take over please help what was the problem
Primery Domain = Windows 2003 Ent
Additional Domain = Windows 2003 Standard

hi,
so you have 2 domain controllers for one domain, in NT/200 domain there was an primary and backup domian controller, in the 2003/2008 are both of the domain controllers primary, but the domain roles could be only on the first and if the first fail, could be transfered to the secondary ( backup ) controller.
