Windows 2003 on ML330 G2

Does anyone know if Proliant ML330 G2 is a supported Windows 2003 platform? I was just re-reading the link to the CSP and noticed that this specific system seems to be missing from the list. Details on my troubles follow...

Upgrading Win2K or a clean install of Win2003 dies at first boot. Splash screen comes up with moving bars, then they stop. Can boot to Safe Mode after, but not Safe with Networking. Have applied 6.10a before and after (after in Safe mode). Still dies. Have specified and provided the ATA RAID controller driver (for full install). This does not work with RC2 or a later build.

Before attempting the install, I would upgrade to the latest 'everything' from http://h18007.www1.hp.com/support/files/server/us/locate/20_1349.html
