Windows 2003 Server Replication

Please Help

I am running windows 2003 server, I have had my fail twice to get up running took me 4 days. Now I need to replicate the server so that if the primary server fails the secondary can take over the business processes. The following server resources should be replicated:

1. System files, System state
2. Applications ( Accounting Package/ACCPAC, D-BIT payroll, D-BIT Fixed Assets,Microsft Office)
3. Users email profile, addresbook

4. Users documents ( Excel files, Word documents, PDFs)

What exactly do I need in terms of software to do the replication, What type of File Server I do not want my server to die on me again without a recovery plan ( Hardware). Than you.
