Hi all

Can windows 2003 run on a lh pro II netserver

If so how can I install it?

Hi Cliff,

It is not officially certified and supportd by HP. Because of that you might not get any driver for windows 2003 for this server components. However, windows 2003 pritty much has all the drivers so you do not need any special instruction to try to install it. Just boot from the windows 2003 installation CD and follo the on screen instaruction.

If you experience some unusual behaviousr with the operation after installation you might not get much help from HP technical support crew as windows 2003 is not a certified operating system on this machine.

I would only add the suggestion of purchasing a new video card. They are cheap and will give you usable video for windows instead of 640. You might also want to add a new SCSI controller since technology has change a lot since then.
