XP128 and Scanmaster
Does anyone know how to discover an HP XP128 with scanmaster?

Hi Barry,
You don't "discover" the XP128 array like the hosts or interconnect devices (switches). You need to get a XP Offline Tool output file (AllConf.csv), which you can get from your ASC or whomever handles your storage. Adding that file to your SANXpert files will give you a end-to-end listing of your SAN environment down to the LUN level.
BTW, the Scanmaster product should other be run by HP as it is not a customer usable product. I would talk with the HP personnel who gave the product to you, and they should have the resources to help you with this.
