fdd is a kernel module as VERITAS File Device

Driver which is required by ODM module.



odm is VERITAS Extension for Oracle Disk

Manager.



I guess you are facing the symptom(SR:8606428359) which is resolved by PHKL_34274.

Please reference the patch text at

in Base-VXFS bundle.

Base-VXFS is VERITAS File System 4.1 Bundle.



Please pay attention on the version info,

which is 4.1.



I wonder you system is in JFS 3.5 instead

of JFS 4.1

在 2006 年 6 月版中，所有 OE 上的 Base-VXFS 3.5 為必須安裝的產品，而 Base-VXFS 4.1 為客戶可選用的產品。

所以再安裝OS的時候,software裡面記得enable 他

再安裝完OS後可以確認fdd module

# kcmodule |grep -i fdd

fdd loaded best loadable, unloadable
