Problem installing OB v5 client on SuSe LINUX under zVM
When I run the ./omnisetup.sh -server aaa.bbb.ccc -install da command, I get:
WARNING: Update of the omni_info file failed for da!
Data Protector Softwar package successfully installed
Importing client to aaa.bbb.ccc.com
./omnisetup.sh: line 1043: /usr/omni/bin/omnicc: cannot execute binary file
I can't telnet into my client through port 5555. Does anyone know what this installation error is and how I can get past it? I can not find any doc on how to fix this or what is wrong. Please advise. thanks in advance. Dean Obry

Re: Problem installing OB v5 client on SuSe LINUX under zVM
Dean,
Maybe just an execute problem.
# ls -la /usr/omni/bin/omnicc
and check if you have rwx for your user.
Hope it helps,
Robert-Jan.
