NetApp and Nimble Arrays Coexisting

Do any of you have both a NImble Array as well as a NetApp array working together?  If so, have any you tried installing NCM into vSphere alongside the NetApp plugin and were there any issues?

Re: NetApp and Nimble arrays Coexisting.

I have VSC and NCM installed on a host and it seems to place nice.  Not seen any problems related to having both.  NetApp FC, Nimble iSCSI though so don't know if that makes a difference.

Re: NetApp and Nimble arrays Coexisting.

Thanks for the reply Gary, yeah we are iSCSI for both, so I do not want to risk it, especially as we were specifically told that it may not play nice together and we simply can't risk it.(for now anyway, as long as we have this NetApp)

Re: NetApp and Nimble arrays Coexisting.

I have many customers that have coexisted NetApp and Nimble (and eventually migrated and turned off their filers) both ESX (5) and Windows (hyper-v 2008 and 2012) environments

There should be no problems whatsoever

I meant to add NCM will only manage devices with a Nimble disk signature all other devices it will ignore
