HP 2530 J9772A Voice VLAN
Good morning!
So have two VLANs configured on my switch, the default VLAN for data, and a VLAN2 for voice. I was troubleshooting the VLAN with a laptop and if I tag a port for VLAN 2, I can get network/internet connectivity on the laptop as long as I enable VLAN and set VLAN 2 on the laptop NIC. If I try to put in a Cisco VoIP (SPA501G) on that port, I don't get any connectivity. Going through the configs, the phone pulls the proper VLAN2 network configurations using IP-Helper, but not VLAN information. I've tried enabling CDP but no luck. Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

Re: HP 2530 J9772A Voice VLAN
Hi, try this:
qos dscp-map 101110 priority 6 qos type-of-service diff-services vlan 1 name "DEFAULT_VLAN" untagged 1-48,A1-A2,B1-B2 exit vlan 100 name "VOICE" tagged 1-48 qos dscp 101110 voice exit
Also enable lldp-med run
perhaps this helps you ...
