Virtual Connect can not assign mac adress to BL460c with Windows 2003 x64

Im facing a problem with the Virtual Connect. The embedded NIC's refuse to get the mac address that is assigned on the profile. Whereas the mezzanine NICs get the mac addresses assign to them just fine. Im using Windows 2003 Ent Edition x64 and the NIC's have the latest drivers and fw. So does the Virtual Connect v1.16

what about System ROM version? There is a minimum version that supports virtualized MACs.

Strange however that the mezz NICs get virtual but the embedded don't....

Happening on multiple servers or just one?

try powering off server, unassigning profile, re-assigning and powering back up.

Now the things are reversed.

The embedded nic get mac addresses and the mezzanine nc326m nics do not.

i have 3 BL460c servers and all of them have the same problem.

System BIOS, nic bios and drivers are the latest
