c-Class BladeSystem half-height device bay shelves

The following is a question from a student (the biggest concern is at the end):
"I have a C-Class enclosure populated with multiple 460c’s (half height). All the way to the right I had to remove the shelf\sleeve so I could slide in a 685c (full height). The concern is that today I have been tasked to add two more 460s into the last two available slots that are next to the full height 685 where the shelf has been removed.
The questions\concerns are if this is possible? Is there some type of a kit I can purchase? What type of future impact will there be without the proper support of a shelf?"
