How to add new SNMP String to hundreds of existing Window servers?
Wilson had a tough question:
*************************************************************************************************************
Currently we have setup a new HP SIM server at our customer location.
Because of that, our customer is looking at the easiest way to add the new SNMP string settings to all their hundreds of windows servers (W2k3 & W2008).
Currently they already have a few SNMP strings in their Windows Servers and they would like to use their in-house software to push/apply the additional SNMP strings & settings without affecting the existing settings already in all the servers.
May I know if you have any experience with such an environment and how to do it (eg.script/registry modification etc)

Paul had an answer:

That can be done from the new SIM server itself, thru the Deploy, Configure and Repair Agents tabs, no?

Does this do the trick? Have you tried this? Let us know if you did something else.
