SAN connect from C7000
Danzi was looking to SAN working with an Integrity server:
*******************
We are experiencing issue for the connection between NetApp storage and C7000. I already implemented following steps:
- Setup zoning between HPUX blade and NetApp storage, which gave the privilege to the server to communicate with NetApp
- Assign the server in question as a “initiator” on NetApp filer in order to allocate LUNs on it
- Allocate 100G LUN to this server
But the ioscan only shows the scsi control but not the LUN assigned. All the steps above are normal procedure before assigning LUNs to s a server, the only different between the new C7000 and old C7000 (which works fine with NetApp) is, the dev file is different for the HBA ( /dev/fclp for old C7000, /dev/fcd for new C7000), I guess it is because they are using different SAN module, but not sure if this is the issue.

Chris suggested the following:

Check out the Virtual Connect guide for Integrity.
I used this with a customer back in January and they are booting from SAN and all is well.

Any other suggestions or help??
