3com 3870 / 3824 Switch

Hello!

I would like to upgrade software on my switches to the latest one.

I downloaded SuperStack_3_Switch_3824_v.2.00_swd02_00.exe and SS3_SWITCH_3870_24_PORT_v.3.00p07_s3h03_00s56p07.exe.

It seems to me being Windows files...?

Must I have windows to upgrade my switches?

At now i have only linux.

I installed tftp server as the software upgrade button in web interface needs.

How do i go further?

   I know that is a very old message and topic, but I'm looking to download the SuperStack_3_Switch_3824_v.2.00_swd02_00.exe file. Do you still have it ? Or do you know where I can found it ?

I think the exe file should contain the bin file that can be transfered via TFTP server to switch. Did you succeded in firmware upgrade ..?
