Equal to NEXUS 5020 supporting FC native and FCoE
Hello,
Please is any one know a HP A switch model has the same ports density like to NEXUS 5020 96 ports and supporting both FCoE module and FC native module plus 10G SFP+ and it's has at less 1Tbps a switch fabric. I have seen the nex model 5900AF but i have not seen about FC native support.
Any more details regarding this request.
Best regards
HP AIS Network Infrastructure

Re: Equal to NEXUS 5020 supporting FC native and FCoE
You can e.g. build an IRF stack of HP 5820-14XG-SFP+ (JC106A) and put in HP 5820 4-port 8/4/2 Gbps FCoE SFP+ modules (JC530A) for FCOE + 10Gbit/s ethernet setup. Haven´t seen a FC switch from H3C.
So you actually need one all inclusive switch? FCOE + FC@4/8/16Gbit/s + 10GbE with SFP+ ?
Qlogic has something: http://www.qlogic.com/Resources/Documents/DataSheets/Switches/ds_UA5900_CNSwitch.pdf

Re: Equal to NEXUS 5020 supporting FC native and FCoE
The 5900 series do not support fibre channel (FC). Are you just looking to do a 1 for 1 match against Cisco devices, or is there a specific problem you want to address?
