Re: Trace route in S7906E
I have one pc conected to a Vlan 3 with ip 192.168.3.15 the vlan ip interface is the 192.168.3.1 and the vlan where is the firewall is the vlan 5, the ip interface of vlan 5 is 192.168.5.1 and the firewall is 192.168.5.254. When i do a traceroute since the PC to some site out of my lan , the output is
1 *******
2 1 ms 1 ms 1 ms 192.168.5.254
3 15 ms 10 ms 6 ms X.y.Z.W
but the IP interfaces of the core dont answer the tracerroute, how can i enable the traceroute to answer my traceroute requests?

Re: Trace route in S7906E
Are you using some dynamic routing protocol or only static and default routes?

Re: Trace route in S7906E
Some weeks ago another technician was facing a similar issue with a 4800G OSPF network; he solved the question implementing the commands:
ip unreachables enable
ip ttl-expires enable
Maybe you can try these commands in order to solve your problem also.
