I have Hp 850 unified wireless controller when i try to Add Ap. it does't display the model number for hp 525 access point. Can you please tell me how i can upgrade   the firmware version for hp 850 unified

am also looking to upgrade my hp 850 firmware as my HP Series Wireless LAN Device HP 850 reboots am not sure why.

I don't think these forums will get you many answers, seems dead!

But if your controller is rebooting, (mine does not) it sounds like you need to contact HP technical Support and get a support ticket.  Run the diagnostics from the web page and send it to them.

To upgrade the firmware is quite simple.  You would need to login to the support area, If you have registered your device with HP and have the serial number, and download the latest firmware bin file and you can upload it through the normal web interface under device maintenance.

it uploads the latest file to your controller and boots from it the next time you restart the wifi controller.
