Oracle and the lp -o private #### option

Hello,
Has anyone set up oracle to use the lp -o private #### options on the new LaserJet 9000DN printers? It works great from the command line, yet the DBA is having problems installing that option inside of Oracle for use with oracle printing.

I hope they already checked the path for this /etc/lp/interface
