Business Copy pairs configuration
Hi:
Guys who manage XP512 have configured for me three LUN's with their corresponding BC copy disks. They say the match between P-VOL and S-VOL is already established when they create the volumes. So, I'd like to check this: is enough for me to add the information of the pairs to configuration files in Raid Manager (horcm#.conf) and restart RM instances? or Should I even issue a "paircreate" command? Thanks in advance for your comments

Re: Business Copy pairs configuration
After the HORCM configuration files have been set do the following:
1. Start the HORCM instance.
2. Set the local instance (export HORCMINST=instance_number).
3. Set the variable for BC (export HORCC_MRCF=1).
4. Run pairdisplay to display the status of the volumes in the group designated with the -g option (# pairdisplay -g group_name -fcx). The status of S-Vol and P-Vol at this stage will be SMPL.
5. Run paircreate to create the pair.
(#paicreate -g p01archdg -vl)
