i am having some problems with my FC60 so it will be great if anyone can help me as i have a little bit knowledge on FC60. kindly find attached the "amdsp" command output.
i already know that i have problems with the following 2 disks:
2:1 and 5:4 (which is a global spare).
So, how could i proceed to eliminate these errors? (by steps)
Thanks in advance

Re: FC60 Problem (help plz)
There are some FC60 documents to assist you. See the Service Guide and tips on changing the BBU and don't forget to reset the battery age after the replacement has been installed.

Re: FC60 Problem (help plz)
THE FOLLOWING WARNING(S) EXIST:
- Array Enclosure Battery: CRITICAL
...
SCSI Channel:ID = 2:1
Enclosure = 0
Slot (0-based) = 3
Disk State = FAILED VIA MODE SELECT
Disk Group and Type = 0952F6005248FCF9B5 LUN
Capacity = 68.4 GB
Manufacturer and Model = HP 73.4G ST373453LC
Serial Number = 3HW0R4NH
Firmware Revision = HPC5
SCSI Channel:ID = 5:4
Enclosure = 2
Slot (0-based) = 8
Disk State = FAILED VIA MODE SELECT
Disk Group and Type = 000000000000000000 HOT SPARE
Capacity = 17.0 GB
Manufacturer and Model = SEAGATE ST318404LC
Serial Number = 3BT2NWRH
Firmware Revision = HP04
The manual says about this status "The disk was failed using a host-initiated command."
I would try to change the status to up again:
amutil -d channel:id
Hope this helps!
Regards
Torsten.

Re: FC60 Problem (help plz)
could you clarify more about the usage of the proposed command as i will execute on a live and critical system:
amutil -d channel:id
as in fact the manual pages of amutil does not mention the -d and -rr options specified above.
Thanks in advance
