I need to identify this product, no matches in search DB
I recently purchased this unit, used to finish my coursework to be a Systems Engineer. I have been searching the HP/Compaq websites and have not come up with any solid information, alot of look alike pictures, but I just want to know the solid answer..
Rack Mount "Compaq" 14 Disk Array, Dual redundant power supplies ( with round fan covers ).
Sticker # 1 -
70-40019-01 C07
150728-001
CT: E2648C7H911(or ii)C3RK
Sticker # 2 - ( larger )
'Replace with Compaq Spare'
123476-001
70-40019-S1
DS-SSL14-RM
103381-001
Hard Drive Caddies are the older style based on what I've seen ? Red button on left, label on right. These also fit my server, a Compaq Proliant DL380 G1.
I appreciate any help I can get. I've been pretty capable on everything else, this one bugs me. Thank you again.

Re: I need to identify this product, no matches in search DB
Hi,
The P/N looks like its a SW4214/4314
Drive cage assembly (Opal color) - Supports up to 14 Ultra drives - Includes backplane PC board
A 4214 Enclosure which supports Ultra2/Ultra3 drives and its compatible with a MA8000 or EMA12000. Also termed as a MSA30.
103381-001
Enclosure : StorageWorks enclosure model 4214R - Rack mount single bus Ultra2 SCSI disk drive enclosure with 14 1.0-inch hot-plug slots
I hope the above information is helpful
Andy

Re: I need to identify this product, no matches in search DB
Hi,
Searching for 123476-001 on PartSurfer http://partsurfer.hp.com shows this to be a "Chassis : Drive cage assembly (Opal color) - Supports up to 14 Ultra drives - Includes backplane PC board"
Essentially this is a SCSI disk shelf. The current equivalent would be an MSA30.
Cheers,
Rob
