unless you are a HP field service engineer, you definitely should not do it yourself. Open a call at HP and have them do it for you.

No, you need to ask hp support to do this!
This is a tough task and must be performed by qualified people.

As the others have said, unless your a HP engineer don't attemp this. There is a strict procedure to follow and software etc which will need to be reinstalled and configured, also if you do replace it you will most likley void you support contract.
As an EX HP engineer I now the pain in this only too well.

XP10000/12000 Owner├в s Guide for more information.
It is strictly stated that the use of SVP is for ONLY AUTHORISED HP REPRESENTATIVES.
