Which Array controller do we use?

We have a server which has an old array controller that compaq told us did not have the capability to allow us add a drive and to extend an array volume.

Are there any compaq engineers out there who can tell me which controller we should buy for a ML330 which would allow us to do this. We don't want to get caught runnng out of space and having to create new volumes.

What OS are you using? Some arrays allow you to extend the volume but that doesn't help if the OS can't deal with it.
