I am now installing Server rp4440, hpux 11.11,
and then the two HBA A6795A, then secure path 3.0D
After that I connect my server to the two SAN Switch.
and these two SAN switch is connected to the EVA3000. (My purpose is to assign vdisk from EVA3000 to my server)
Then power on my all systems
the two SAN switch is OK. EVA3000 is OK, I can use SAM server to configure EVA3000.
But my HP 9000 server is dump.
It said I/O error when scanning fcp.
I cannot join my HP 9000 to the SAN switch with EVA3000 connected.
Any body can help???
If I shutdown the EVA (connect my HP 9000 server to the two SAN switch only)
My server can boot normally, and the two switch can see the server
Why?
Help me!
Thanks

Re: Can not connect HP9000 rp4440 to EVA3000!!
Is the server configured in the EVA as a HP-UX host, not a Windows or something other.
