EVA8000 can support 300G FC 15K?

I have a eva8000(HSV210,XCS5.110,Command view 6.0),need upgrade and add M5314B Enclosure,300GB 15K (part no:AG425A)

Question:
1,can add 300GB 15k FC disk?
2,Firmware and command view need to upgrade ? No new Lic for Command view 7.0 .

Hi,

I am using 300GB and 450GB disks in my EVA8000, but I am at XCS 6110. you need to check with on HP site if you will need to update the XCS code in order to be able to 'see' the 300GB disks.

mine are 300GB 15k Fibre Channels. Part no:AG425-64201

Yes, you can add 300GB 15K drives in EVA8000, but you need upgrade Firmware to minimum of 6.100 , preferably to 6.200 and Command View versions preferably to v9.1.
