FCArray error configuring RS12FC
Hi,
I have an existing config of an LXr 8500 with an Agilent HBA connected to an RS12FC. The OS is Win2K Advanced Server.
The RAID config is 5 across eight disks with two hot spares.
I'm trying to release one of the hot spares for use as a swap drive. Using the FCArray RAID Assistant I perform a Manual Configuration / Edit COnfiguration / Remove Spare. When I apply the changes (on the LUN Mapping tab) I get the following error:
"Failed to save LUN mapping to controller. Do you want to continue to save the configuration." If you click Yes it fails with "Error in creating the new configuration".
Any ideas?
