HSG80 rebuild mirrorset

I had a failed member in a mirrorset, and it went into failedset. Replacement drive was put in. Added the drive in CLI, init drive, and added to spareset. Autospare set on. We want the drive to automatically go into reduced mirrorset, but it hasn't. We have been successful with a Raid 5 doing this but not this mirrorset, Any ideas ?

can you post the properties of the unit? and the mirror set?

Do you have a replacement policy set?

Michael,

If you haven't solved your problem yet can you do a SHOW DISK10100 and SHOW DISK40200

The disk in the spareset has to be at least the same size disk in the mirror set.

Thanks I did get it solved:
show disk


HSG80 top> show dvgrpm0

HSG80 top> set dvgrpm0 nopolicy

HSG80 top> set dvgrpm0 replace = disk10100

Mirrorset rebuilt in a few minutes
