Problem with XCS 5100 and Command View 5
I have a SMA with Command View 5.0 (was upgraded) and everything is fine.
Now I have a new one EVA4000 and it comes with XCS 5031. The EVA was initialized fine without problems.
After I upgraded to XCS 5100 the Command View see the EVA in the left pane, but in the right pane doesn┬┤t appear the properties instead a "404 error".
Then I downgrade the XCS to 5031 again trought the SSSU and the Command View see it correctly.
Somebody have experience with that ?
Thanks,
Larry

Re: Problem with XCS 5100 and Command View 5
i had the same problem i think it is a bug for command view.
check the installation directory like following ;
C:\Program Files\Hewlett-Packard\Sanworks\Element Manager for StorageWorks HSV
is there a directory for youe EVA.
if not rename HSV210V500 to HSV210V510

Re: Problem with XCS 5100 and Command View 5
Did you try restarting Command View? or rebooting the server Command View is running on? Sometimes CV gets confused after a firmware update and needs to be refreshed, more than just the refresh button.

Mustafa, I will try your recommendation.
Steven, I restarted the Command View services and rebooted the SMA but the problem persist.
Thanks,
Larry
