RA8000 swap error ?

Has any one seen an error like this before ?
SWAP:UNABLE TO CLEAR SWAP SIGNAL ON DEVICE PORT TWO (ALSO 5)ALL SWAP SIGNALS DISABLED. This happens when connected via serial cable.
