SolutionThe operating temperature for EVA is between 50├В┬░ to 95├В┬░ F (10├В┬░ to 35├В┬░ C) beyond which the EVA would start failing due to over heat.

Prakash

Re: What is the temperature treshold for the EVA8100?
40.0C is a very mormal temperature for a disk
I'm not aware of any published numbers for individual max disk temperature.
Regards
Henk

Re: What is the temperature treshold for the EVA8100?
When the EVA hits temp warning (not shutdown/power off) it *should* switch the cache to write through as well. Should the temp fall back below warning level (assuming that it did not power-off) then the cache will go to write-back again.

Re: What is the temperature treshold for the EVA8100?
Was your EVA data intact on reboot / restart ??
If yes, then the EVA worked as designed!
