dl580 g5 and hot add nic´s
Hello,
i ´ve got 2 dl580 g5 with esx 4.0u2 per server.
could i add 2 new HP NC364T PCI-E Quad Port Gigabit "HOT ADD"
OR is it mandatory to shutdown the server?

I am afraid hot add PCI-e cards is nice way to dark. You have to schedule small downtime to place card and reconfigure networks...

Hello, in theory bus is cabable of hotplug if cards support it as well. Your NC364T card has no mention in quickspecs regarding hot plug features, so do not try it.
