HP P4300 DSM
I am trying to setup multipathing for an HP P43000 cluster on a Windows Server. I have installed DSM version 12 as we are on Version 12 for the SAN's. I then added both of my network cards under the discovery tab. Then I went to targets and created sessions for each network card and enabled multipathing. The issue is that a bunch of sessions are automatically being created that that have authentication CHAP when we aren't using CHAP. No matter what I do those sessions get created. There are about 5 of them.
Also when I go into Device Manager and try to change the MPIO policy to Round Robin instead of Vendor Specific I get An unknown error has occured.
This is a VMware guest, with Windows Server 2008 R2 SP1.
