IBM DRDA client for HPUX

Has anyone heard of such a thing?

I guess this is a client you install on HPUX that allows you to configure the oracle listener to talk directly to an IBM DB2 instance. You are able to build database links directly into DB2.

I've never seen this, but our DBA seems to think it exists. Please let me know if you have any information.

Hi Tim,

Yes there are Oracle gateway products to configure for DRDA on HP/UX version 4.0.1.1.0.

Attached is a document that explains a sample configuration for TG4DRDA V4.0.1.1.0 on HP/UX to DB/2 on OS/390 MVS.
