JetAdmin on Redhat Advanced Server 2.1

Is there a Jetadmin that will run on RedHat Advanced Server 2.1 or only on the Redhat 9.0?

Hello Baird,

the current version only lists RH 9.0 and SuSE 8.2. So you might need to hunt down an older version of Jetadmin for AS 2.1. Since there
is at least no obvious ftp server from hp with archived versions of the tool you might need to pester your support person.

Alternatively you can install CUPS on linux to configure jetdirect printers.

I am really looking for a way to do compressed printing on Linux, it appears that this is not an option with the "lp -o c" command under linux.
