Open LDAP: Export LDIF File in UTF8

Hello,

how can I export an LDIF File in UTF8 Format?
My Problem is ton convert german umlauts (ü, ö, ä, etc.).
If there is an entry with an attribute sn=müller, the string in the LDIF file is like sn=kj.>-/$<<<

The same Problem is when I work with Open LDAP: if I work with command line (ldapsearch), I 've got the same Problem. If I work with a Browser (eg. Softerra, all umlauts ar shown correct. Does anybody know how to use umlauts on command line?
