Red Hat Linux 7.2 and HP Pavilion XF145 Notebook
Tried it and didn't have any luck getting X-Windows going. What Video Driver should I use?

If i'm not mistaken you have a
savage video driver. First check out linux-laptops to see if anyone
has their /etc/X11/XF86Config
file posted there
To see if your graphics card is
supported under XFree86 see:
http://www.xfree86.org/4.2.0/Status28.html#28
To see how to configure your graphics card see:
http://www.xfree86.org/4.2.0/savage.4.html
If you can't really wait or its not supported then use the vesa or
framebuffer driver:
http://www.xfree86.org/4.2.0/vesa.4.html
http://www.xfree86.org/4.2.0/fbdev.4.html
