SAP sidadm and orasid user accounts

Can you customize the userIDs(not username) created by SAP during the install process? We are installing 4.5B R/3 for a migration project and I cannot believe the SAP installation picks a userID at will and tries to create these accounts when I have already created them using our ID allocation policy ....
